Starting my developer experience in the earliest commercial days of the world wide web, I have witnessed - and contributed towards, almost 30 years of internet evolution.
The way we use the internet now is so incredibly different to those early days. CSS didn't exist, JavaScript use was almost non-existent and the concept of social media was just being envisioned by the visionaries who went on to build Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the many other platforms that didn't make it this far. Internet Explorer was... well, let's not go there!
I've been involved in the launch of the UK's first gaming web site in 1995 (also the first to sell online in 1996), an internet service provider, a domain name reseller and in more recent years have delivered highly effective systems powering UK small businesses helping them to punch above their weights.
I'm passionate about helping small businesses work smarter, helping them to automate key tasks improving accuracy and efficiency. In fact, I've been designing and implementing bespoke software solutions on the web a long time before the word Cloud became fashionable.
